Over 115 people arrived for the "offical beginning" on the Saturday, but many other good times and training was had even leading up to it. Special thanks to the Brisbane crew for their organisation and hospitality!

On Sunday 23rd August 2009, our good friend Naoki Ishiyama fell from a tree in Hampstead Heath, London. Despite being a very strong and fit individual, Naoki was seriously injured and we have since been informed that his back was broken in the fall.
All who have had the pleasure of meeting Naoki can attest to him being one of the kindest, most positive and good-spirited people you could ever hope to meet and it was his wish that all of his friends knew about his accident and were aware that he was staying positive and determined to make a full recovery.
We have been told that he will need to remain in hospital for an extended period of time to keep his spine aligned and the recovery process will be difficult and slow.
Naoki travelled to London to practice Parkour, something he lives and breathes for and his passion for both Parkour and life was evident to all who trained with him.
Despite being a very positive young man and full of determination, he does need our support. At just 18 years old he finds himself in a foreign country with limited English skills, facing a life-changing injury so far from home.
This group was created in the hope that we can bring together as many of his friends as possible in one place to leave him messages, photos, videos and anything else you can think of to keep his spirits high and I will be visiting him regularly to let him know how much you're all thinking of him.
Please show your support for Naoki, even if you haven't had the pleasure of meeting him yet.. it will mean so much to him.
Naoki and his family need your support in order to overcome this very difficult situation. All money raised will be put toward paying for Naoki's UK hospital bills and for helping h...

A new batch of the original and iconic Sydney Parkour T-shirts. As seen in classic Sydney Parkour videos such as Around the World and Escape. The founder of Parkour, David Belle, once said in an interview that Parkour was movements for "Escape" and "Reach" and so the REACH/ESCAPE Parkour shirt was born.
The design is screen-printed on a high quality 100% Cotton AAA T-Shirt (charcoal and athletic grey are a 50% cotton/50% polyester blend). All shirts are pre-shrunk, 205 GSM cotton, with tubular construction (seamless sides), double stitched shoulder tape, bottom and sleeve hems. That means they are suited to the hard wearing demands of Parkour. For the first time they are now available in glorious colour as well as all the classics. Shirts come in Black, White, Athletic Grey (black print), Charcoal Grey (white print), Red (white print), Purple (black or white print) and Yellow (black print) in sizes Small, Medium, Large and a few XL.
For non-Sydney people there is an etsy store that you can order from: www.novelways.etsy.com or if you can wait until Nat Meat, reserve your shirts by responding to this thread.

Good news, everyone! And a little bad news as well.
Despite the voting showing the first weekend the 2:1 favourite for Australian traceurs, due to astonishingly bad timing it seems that most every seasoned player in brisbane will be unavailable for this weekend. In order to show our friends across Australia the very best time we can, we'd like to make the second weekend the one. We realize that this may not be ideal for some people, however the alternative is probably worse.
Please, mark your calendars for Friday 9th to Sunday 11th October, 2009. We'll have all the details needed to arrange travel and accomodation very soon.
